Mankind Barbers is open at the Tannery Boutique & Arts Emporium in Woolston offering a traditional barbers service, producing contemporary looks for the stylish men of Christchurch. Situated in a vintage setting, Mankind Barbers provides a relaxing service that includes a wash and condition with every cut and we offer appointments so you can plan to fit your cut into your busy schedule Whether it’s a hot shave before your important meeting, or a new cut & style before a hot date, we will ensure you look the part!! So come in, kick back, relax, enjoy the banter and leave looking like a new man!!!

One of Christchurch’s earliest industrial sites has recently been reconstructed and is on track to become an exceptional Boutique shopping experience .

Located with views to the picturesque Port Hills and next to the historic Heathcote river, the Tannery complex comprises five different “precincts” creating a micro Retail community. From Boutique retail to arts and light design based manufacturing, artists quarters to a World class music and Performance venue.

The emporium quarter inspired by the opulent Victorian style shopping arcades, it is home to around 30 boutique fashion, homewares, arts, gifts and hospitality based retailers. Food, wine and beer lovers are spoilt for choice.
